The pottery has been made in the Boleslawiec area of Poland since the first half of the 16th century. Today, the pottery is still handmade and manually decorated using a unique stamp technique. All decorations are underneath the glaze, which is lead-free and cadmium-free. The pottery is very durable, and is safe to use with food.
